Course Organic Reaction Mechanisms
Curriculum S1 KIMIA 2020
Credit 2
Course Type compulsory
Description "THIS COURSE STUDIES THE BASIC CONCEPTS OF CHEMISTRY BY EXAMINING THE STRUCTURE AND CHEMICAL REACTIONS OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS INCLUDING ALDEHYDE / KETONE COMPOUNDS, CARBOXYLIC ACIDS, AND SEVERAL CARBOXYLIC ACID DERIVATIVES SUCH AS ESTERS, ACID ANHYDRIDES, AMIDES, NITRILES, AMINES AND HETEROCYCLIC AROMATIC COMPOUNDS. ENOLATES AND CARBANIONS DEFINE AS THE BASIS FOR CONDENSATION REACTIONS. TO DEEPEN UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONCEPT OF REACTIONS IN ORGANIC CHEMISTRY THEORY 2, FOR EXAMPLE STUDYING THE REACTIVITY OF ALPHA HYDROGEN IN ACETONE, CROSS-ALDOL CONDENSATION REACTIONS, ESTERIFICATION REACTIONS IN ALKALINE SOLUTIONS AND CARBOXYLIC ACID ANHYDRIDE REACTIONS CAN BE DEEPENED IN PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES IN THE LABORATORY.
