Description THIS COURSE STUDIES THE GENERAL UNDERSTANDING OF NOMENCLATURE, ISOMERS, CENTRAL ATOMS, LIGANDS OF COMPLEX COMPOUNDS AND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ENERGY AND THE STABILITY OF A COMPLEX COMPOUND. THIS GENERAL UNDERSTANDING IS EXPLAINED IN VARIOUS THEORIES THAT TRY TO EXPLAIN THIS COMPOUND PHENOMENON, INCLUDING THEORIES BEFORE 1930, WERNER'S THEORY, EFFECTIVE ATOMIC NUMBER THEORY, VALENCE BOND THEORY, AND CRYSTAL FIELD THEORY.
