Description | "THIS COURSE STUDIES THE PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS THAT ARE USED IN ENERGY UTILIZATION, BOTH CONVENTIONAL AND ALTERNATIVE ENERGY. CONVENTIONAL ENERGIES SUCH AS OIL, GAS AND COAL AS WELL AS ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SUCH AS BIODIESEL, BIOETHANOL, BIOGAS, FUEL CELLS, SOLAR CELLS, BATTERIES, WIND ENERGY, WATER ENERGY, GEOTHERMAL, OCEAN WAVES, AND NUCLEAR ENERGY ARE EXAMPLES OF CASES THAT WILL BE USED IN LEARNING. THE DISCUSSION INCLUDES CONSIDERATIONS OF ENERGY SELECTION, ITS ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES, AS WELL AS ITS INTEGRATION AND INTERCONNECTION WITH ISLAMIC VALUES, BOTH IN TERMS OF CONCEPT AND APPLICATION.
